We celebrated Dr. Seuss' birthday at the beginning of March!
We read several of his books.

We read Fox in Socks, one of Mrs. Sztanya's FAVORITES! It makes your tongue numb because it has so many tongue twisters! After we read this book, we decorated our own socks. We hung these in the hallway below our bulletin board on a "clothesline".
One favorite is The Foot Book. We came up with lists of opposite words. We then chose one set of words, wrote the two words down, then we illustrated the words on a giant set of feet!

After reading One Fish, Two Fish, Red Fish, Blue Fish, we made fish patterns and turned them into cool hats!

We enjoyed learning about Dr. Seuss!

Also, check out the really great Valentine's Day boxes that students made! They did a fantastic job on them!

Parker and his uncle made this AMAZING Valentine box! It had Batman, Superman, Spiderman, and the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.
It was a great family project!

The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles are busting out of the sewer drain in the road!

This little guy was ADORABLE when he was "eating" the Valentine cards!
